The Church Cont.

By Late Apostle Bishop Randolph Goodwin Formerly Of Bishop S.C. Johnson
"If any man strive for the masteries, yet is not crowned, except he strive lawfully. The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits." (II Tim. 2:5) You see, dear reader, we must build according to the laws of God. The Bible speaks of some who concerning the truth have erred; nevertheless; the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal the Lord Knows them that are his. II Tim. 2:18-19.
The Apostle, Paul said in Col. 1:22-24, that the Lord would present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight if we continue in the faith, (not in some building of brick and mortar, but in the the faith) grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel. The apostle, Paul again speaks in II Tim. 3:13-14,  But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived; But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; (the doctrine).
In my conclusion, I refer to the scriptures again spoken by the apostle, Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: (notice continue in the doctrine,) for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee. Notice that, it is the doctrine that saves us and not some particular building of brick and mortar. So, the apostle said, Continue in the doctrine for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself and them that hear thee. I Tim. 4:16.
May the Lord bless you to consider what I say and he will give you understanding in all things. II Tim. 2:7.
Eph. 5:25-27 "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved The Church, and gave himself for it, that he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, that he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish."
Dearly beloved, if you are not in Christ's Church you are laboring in vain and not going to be accepted when he comes for His Church without spot or wrinkle, or any such thing, but that it should be holy.
In St. John 2:19, when Jesus told them, to destroy this temple and in three days, I will raise it up, right away the carnal mind took them to the building of brick and stone that was standing by, but he was talking about his body; his body was the temple spoken of. Now our bodies are the temple of God. (1 Cor. 3:16) and if any man defile the temple of God him shall God destroy.
There are many false churches in the world and many false prophets who are leading many to destruction. Matt. 7:15 "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves."
Jesus said in Matt. 15:8-9 "This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth and honoreth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me; but in vain they do worship me, preaching for doctrines the commandments of men."
